Anoe Melliou is an architect with Greek heritage, based in Berlin. Arc Annex III is a modular vessel that approaches the unresolved circle as a sculptural study of boundary, rupture, and convergence. Along its curved form, a magnetically attached vertical module creates a shifting interplay, inviting responsive interaction and continual reconfiguration. It is fitted with a magnetic sphere at its base, and secured by a corresponding sphere on the opposing side of the arc, allowing it to slide continuously along the curve while remaining in tension with the form. The diverse iterations of Arc Annex explore the unresolved circle as a site of encounter through pure forms and minimal interventions. The series engages critically with the concept of an end, examining points of contact. Magnetically linked, the modules meet in states of attraction while resisting permanence.
