Anoe Melliou is an architect with Greek heritage, based in Berlin. Exploring therelationship between subjectivity and possibility, she develops reconfigurablestructures that invite shifting alignments and ongoing reinterpretation, attentive tonotions of scale, system and syntax. Through spaces, objects, and curation, her practice engages with identity as a limit condition—situated, performative, and endlessly redefined. With curatorial projects across Regarding Relations, she approaches the spatial and cultural conditions of gendered narratives, addressing questions of autonomy and agency.

Asymptote Side-Table embodies the idea of the mathematical asymptote. An asymptote is a line that a curve may approach without ever reaching. A concept that requires reasoning in abstract mathematical terms rather than physical intuition. To the eye, a curve and a line may appear to merge as they draw close, since their physical marks blur together. Note: The curves are held in place by a series of magnetic spheres—one at the outer side of each curve, and one in between—in total three spheres in sequence. This modular aspect allows the final form to be adjusted or modified as desired. A solid stainless steel disc at the top anchors the composition. Edition of 8
