Andu Masebo

About
Andu
Andu Masebo is a product and furniture designer from London with a practice rooted in craft, curiosity and storytelling through design. Working in the space between functional objects and artistic practice, Andu’s approach often cross-pollinates these two disciplines, creating objects and experiences that balance utility with cultural and emotional resonance. Driven by a desire to make things with a lasting value, his work circulates around people, place and time, focusing on the relationship between the role of design and the material culture it produces.
With a background grounded in the practicalities of making, he works closely to the process of production, developing an holistic understanding of how materials, fabrication, and wider contexts can shape an object's life. Using Design as a tool to bring people together, Andu’s work is characterised by simplicity, efficiency and openness, building bridges between people, materials and experiences in order to explore new narratives through design.
